Balik sa Bayan is a play on words 'Balikbayan,' the term for Filipino return
migrant, and give back to one's country

Balik sa Bayan ultimately aims to facilitate discourse on migration and migrant- related issues among the Filipino youth. It gathers a diverse group of individuals from students, young professionals, third culture kids (TCKs), migrant- affected youth, etc., from within and beyond the Philippines in the hopes of inspiring youth action and stand with Overseas Filipino Workers, Overseas Filipinos, migrants and people in diaspora, refugees, and internally displaced persons.

Our Vision
To mobilize and provide for migrants, IDPs, refugees through a creative means. Balik sa Bayan envisions a more empowered and well-informed Filipino youth when it comes to humanitarian issues involving migration.
